Message from Norwich foodbank

A message from Norwich foodbank

In 2017, we gave out over 9,700 food parcels each providing local people in crisis with three days of food. Thank you for helping us continue this service we couldn't do it without you!

The food bank require the following items. Long life sponge puddings, Tinned fish, Instant mash and Washing powder. If you are able to provide any of these items then the food bank would be very grateful.

40 acts of generosity in Mile Cross

40 acts of generosity in Mile Cross

I know that Christmas has only just passed us by, but while we are in the mood for being generous, I'm really excited about our next step into mission at St Catherine's. Throughout Lent this year St Catherine's church(and others if you wish to join us) are going to be stepping out in faith to serve the Mile Cross area with 40 acts of kindness. Over the coming weeks we are going to be sharing ideas  of what we can do, but here is one very simple but effective idea of how we can bless those around us Click here. Why not come and join us as we do Lent generously!

The Development Group

The Development Group

Why a Development Group?

Over the next few years we have to raise a lot of money, principally for major re-wiring of the church (without which it may be the church will have to close for insurance purposes), there are also roof works, re-pointing and other possibilities for improving our current facilities, in the pipeline.  Please consider your support of the following (and future) events with these issues in mind.

Who are ‘they’?

They are: Rachael Barber, Simon Bransby, Peter Daines, Ruth Lambert and Joyce Lincoln.   Please feel free to speak to anyone in the group who will be able to tell you how we are progressing. Do you have any ideas you would like to put forward to the Development Group?
