Wednesday: 11.30 am - Lent Fellowship Group - Emmaus Room
Wednesday: 7.30 pm - Lent Fellowship Group - St Catherine’s Church
Maundy Thursday 7 PM in church
Good Friday workshop 10- 12 PM in the church hall
Good Friday reflective service 12:30 PM in church
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting takes place on Sunday 28th April after Morning service. At this meeting elections take place for the PCC - forms will be available on the round table for those who would like to stand. Last year at the APCM Joyce Lincoln indicated her wish to stand down as PCC Secretary this year. If this is something you would like to know more about please speak to Joyce or see the Job Description on the round table.
As part of our 40 acts through Lent this week you are invited to join us for this week's activities:
Chatty Tuesday. Coffee morning in church. 10.00-11.30 am
Wondering Wednesday. Prayer walking in the parish. Meet at the church at 1.PM
Thoughtful Thursday. Prayer visiting. Meet at 10.00 am at the church
Friday. Good friday Workshop
Saturday. Help needed to decorate the Church 9am
You are invited to join St Catherine’s and the Methodist Church 2019 Lent groups starting on Wednesday 13trh March. There will be 2 groups running each Wednesday during Lent, at 11.30 am and 7.30 pm. Resources for these can be found on our website under ‘Resources’. The Ash Wednesday service of Holy Communion and Maundy Thursday meal will take place at St Catherine’s - more details to follow.
Our services at St Catherine’s are video recorded, and later uploaded to our YouTube channel. This enables people who are unable to get to the service to watch it at a convenient time. We make every effort to make sure that people faces are not visible.

Development/ Restoration Fund:
Over the next few years we have to raise a lot of money, principally for major re-wiring of the church. There are also roof works and other possibilities for improving our current facilities, in the pipeline.
For your information the Development Group are:
Rachael Barber (of Gordon Barber Funeral Directors), Simon Bransby, Cathy D’Oyley, Martin and Rach Hartley, Ruth Lambert and Joyce Lincoln.
