Prince Philip, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Our Prayers are with the Royal Family, the country and commonwealth at this time; Loving God, gather him to yourself in gentleness and in peace. Amen.

Unfortunately, we are unable to have a book of condolence in the church at this time, but there is an opportunity to sign a virtual one by following the links below.  The church however will be open on Friday between 11 AM and 12 PM private prayer if you wish to come to the church.

Easter day morning service in church

After a long time not having services in church we are pleased to let you know that we will be having our Easter Day celebration in the church at 10:30 AM this Sunday. Weather permitting we are hoping to start a service outside so that we can sing together and then make our way into the church. Unfortunately, our heating is not working at the moment so please come prepared for a chilly church! The service will be live streamed on Zoom if you are unable to get to church. Notice about public worship
Following the government's announcement tonight, 04 Jen 2021 that England will be going into a 3rd lockdown, I just wanted to clarify the situation regarding public worship. The Bishop of London has issued a statement stating that churches in England are able to stay open for public worship.  You can read this statement by clicking here
 
This, however, doesn't change our situation at St Catherine's regarding public worship being suspended in church and the ministry team providing online services instead. I do appreciate that this isn't ideal, but there is hope around the corner, and we will review the situation again in a few weeks. 
 
Please continue to pray for those who are going to struggle the most through this new lockdown.

Due to the current situation, we will not be having our usual midnight Communion this year on Christmas Eve. If you know of anybody who normally comes along to this service could you please let them know.

We will be having a Christmas morning communion at 10 o'clock if you'd like to join us.

“Quiet Christmas” service

“Quiet Christmas” service – 6pm
Christmas Day Friday 25th December 2020.
A reflective service where the difficulties of the season can be acknowledged. Christmas can be hard at times of anxiety, loss, separation, even more so in this year of COVID. Reepham and Wensum Valley Benefice and St. Catherine’s Church, Mile Cross, Norwich invite you to a Zoom online service reflecting on the light of Christ
shining in the darkness.

The Zoom chapel will open from 5.45pm. If you wish, bring a candle to light during the
service.
